bits and pieces.
today, i realized i know almost nothing about my mom’s side of the family.
when we visit korea we only make one visit to my grandparents’ farm, and then we spend the rest of the time with my dad’s side of the family in the city.
it’s almost like she tries to keep us from any knowledge about them.
i’ve picked up a few things here and there from little side conversations on the phone, but i wish my mom would trust us with these things because i know it’s so much more than what she can handle on her own.
i heard her talking to my grandma on the phone earlier and i heard something about her knee giving out.
regardless of what it is, i’m praying and hoping my grandma is okay.
